This very private home is tucked into a .5-acre lot in the Fern Hill area surrounded by lush greenery, a ghaut, and beautiful views of St. Kitts. Located in an area of peaceful seclusion, it is not far from local beaches and a variety of restaurants and activities. KITCHEN
Terrific gourmet-style kitchen designed and built by Parry Woodworking with shaker-style cabinetry with eating bar. All stainless-steel appliances, including a 5-burner gas Frigidaire range and microwave, KitchenAid dishwasher and French-door refrigerator.
DINING
Off the kitchen is a large, screened dining pavilion with table seating six, with expansive views of St. Kitts.
BEDROOMS
The main bedroom is at one end of the house with ensuite bathroom with large walk-in shower, double sinks, king bed, and large French doors leading out to the pool deck with fantastic views of St. Kitts. AC and ceiling fan. At the opposite end of the house is a second main bedroom with queen bed, ensuite bathroom with soaking tub and shower
VERANDAS
The outdoor living area serves as the veranda space, poolside. On mountainside of house is a lovely screened, shady veranda room. Extra-wide steps lead down to the ground level. Outdoor verandas are covered in Nevis cut stone.
CONSTRUCTION
Block and masonry with exterior wooden railings and trim created out of PVC, recently replaced. House exterior was recently repainted.
POOL
HA huge infinity-edged pool (15’ x 30’) occupies the front veranda. Interior of pool was recently resurfaced with Diamond Brite pool coating.
OTHER DETAILS
House has AC in the bedrooms and ceiling fans throughout. Full-sized stackable washer/dryer in hallway laundry closet. Interior doors and windows were crafted by Island Moldings on Nevis. New security camera system installed. New seamless gutters on house, and new Diamond Brite recoating on pool. Downstairs large lockable storage area and carport. House is located in the attractive Fern Hill Estates area, comprised of some similar homes plus some newer very upscale larger custom-designed and built homes. The area is about a 10-minute drive to grocery shopping in Charlestown, and about 8 minutes to beaches and water taxi pier at Oualie Beach. .
