Suzanne Gordon, Owner

A former journalist in Philadelphia for 30 years, Suzanne moved to Nevis in 1997 to write a book about Caribbean architecture: Searching for Sugar Mills: An Architectural Guide to the Eastern Caribbean. She established Sugar Mill Real Estate in 2000 and now has three agents who work with her. She is very active with the Nevis Historical and Conservation Society and earned a M.A. Degree in Historic Preservation from Goucher College in Baltimore, Md., in 2007.

Millie Molle

Millie moved to Nevis with her husband and two children three years ago, after 12 years living in the US. She is English, but spent her childhood in Africa and the Middle East. She first came to Nevis in 1989, met her husband in the BVI and there started her love affair with the Caribbean. After years travelling the globe, Millie and her husband both decided to leave the rat race and settle on Nevis. Millie's passion is houses and she has always enjoyed buying and selling her own properties so it was a natural path for her to take get involved in real estate.


Kirby Mihalakis

Based in the U.S, Kirby is the firm's rental specialist. Incredibly knowledgeable about the hospitality business, Kirby is a specialist in Caribbean rentals. Prior to working in the real estate business, she was a conference services and marketing manager with Renaissance Hotels in the U.S. Earlier she worked in hospitality management in both St. Thomas and the Turks and Caicos Islands. She brings much experience to the quality control aspect of the business.

Doreen Hodge

Doreen moved to the Federation in 1993 from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and has worked in many administrative jobs over the years, including radio, air cargo, property and hotel management, restaurants, and now property and rental management at Sugar Mill. A born host and hi-tech whiz, Doreen enjoys helping guests get situated and is a super troubleshooter when things go wrong. She keeps everyone in line at Sugar Mill, and makes things happen. She has raised her kids on Nevis, and now is enjoying her grandkids too.
